Qubit
An original Spine 4.3 character, animated by chine inside oniq. It watches the pointer, reaches for it, and swings when you carry it.
About this scene
Qubit is a small hover robot rigged in Spine 4.3: 47 bones, meshes skinned along its arms, antenna and scarf, layered animations, IK for the head and both arms, and nine physics constraints on the body, antenna, scarf and thruster flame. chine, a Spine runtime written in Rust, runs the rig at the display's frame rate, and oniq draws it through the same sprite pass as everything else. The art, atlas and skeleton are generated from source by an example in the oniq repository.
Controls Point near Qubit and it looks and reaches. Drag it to carry it, tap it for a trick, or press anywhere else to send it there. Space flips and W waves once the scene has the keyboard.
